Ramos is a right back who plays for Austin FC in the MLS Next League and is part of Puerto Rico’s squad in the World Cup. He has a solid two-way game, built upon his strong technical foundations and a very high soccer IQ. Ramos is very tough to beat when playing defense thanks to his quick feet, which allow him to keep up with pacey wingers in space and to perform well-timed tackles. Also capable of playing on the left, he adds a lot offensively, too, having the ability to stay wide and make plays on the wings or to come inside and make an impact with his passing.

Ramos made a big impact on both sides of the ball from the right back spot. He was very solid defensively, efficiently handling most of Nashville’s attempts on his side and dominating his zone. Ramos also had a constant presence in the attacking half and was very involved in Austin’s offense. The outside back did a good job of staying wide and helping his team stretch Nashville’s backline, but also demonstrated remarkable calm and intelligence with his passing, waiting for the right moments to release the ball and picking the best options to feed his teammates in the final third.

Ramos is the 12th-best defender in the updated Rankings and ranks 37th overall in the Class of 2029 in Texas. He moved into the state last year and is part of the Austin FC Academy, competing in the MLS Next League. A Puerto Rican Youth international, Ramos saw his stock rise in the period, when he played up on numerous occasions. Capable of playing in both outside back spots, Ramos is very solid defensively, doing a great job of tracking opponents out wide and stopping them with well-timed tackles. He also has quality in possession and gets to support the offense by driving the ball upfield and beating opponents with quick moves.
