A central midfielder, Eaton had some ups and downs during the match, but played with great determination and did good things on the ball. She worked hard defensively and was able to stop many Albion plays with physical stops in midfield. Eaton also stood out in possession as she was heavily involved in the few moments in which her team was able to connect consecutive passes and keep the ball. Playing in front of SA City SC’s backline as a defensive midfielder, Eaton was a little bit overwhelmed at the start of the match, when STLDA placed several talented players in the central area of the field. She played with a lot of intensity and still managed to make several stops, using her great reading of the game to cut passing lanes and win duels. The midfielder was also very active in possession as her teammates constantly looked for her. Eaton did a good job with her distribution and also progressed the ball with runs through the middle when she sensed an opportunity.
