Andrino was one of the high profile players heading into the event and she lived up to the hype. She had two outstanding saves during the 11v11 game that drew a reaction from the sideline. Andrino is an athletic shot-stopper. She has been training and playing with the WPSL LA Surf team this summer – on top of playing for LA Surf in the Girls Academy. The elements of her game that stand out is her strong technical foundation. She makes the routine save comfortable and gives a lot of confidence to her teammates in how she is securing in handling those types of situations. The other aspect is how often she gets a hand on a shot that seems like it should be past her. She doesn’t quit on a shot and she has a good diving technique that allows her to get to shots that other keeps might not have be able to reach. Her distribution is also a strong point of her game. She is quick to identify outlets and get the ball to the feet of her teammates. She is a prospect with a lot of potential.
