Clig and her Dallas Texans 07 teammates will battle against East Meadow SC, GTFC Impact RL and Richmond United over the weekend. She has been with the team for a few years now and continues to be a big part of what they do with her solid work on both sides of the ball. She’s very efficient and somewhat sneaky defensively as she holds her position for as long as she can in 1v1 duels until she senses an opportunity to tackle opponents and come out with the ball. Many of her defensive actions quickly turn into attacking plays as she’s not afraid of exploring the space in front of her when she sees any. Clig also has good quality on the ball and can connect good passes and hit accurate crosses when in the final third.

An outside back with Dallas Texans 07, Clig and her team are scheduled to play against WNY Flash, FC Stars White and Pateadores in Greensboro. She can play at both outside back spots and is very reliable on and off the ball. Clig plays with good energy on defense and does a solid job of winning possession with smart interceptions. She’s very calm and intelligent on the ball, often engaging in quick combination plays in her own half that help her team break pressure. The outside back makes herself available fairly often too and is not afraid of going at defenders.

Back with Dallas Texans G07 after a season with Sting Dallas Royal, Clig will be on the field when they play against Michigan Hawks Magic, Utah Avalanche and Eastside FC over the weekend in the event. She is mostly used as a left back for them, but can also play in midfield or even at the wing. Clig is very solid defensively, in big part thanks to her ability to read the game and step up to intercept passes – she also seems to be one step ahead of everyone else. She gets the job done when she needs to defend 1v1 too, playing hard and cutting attackers to the ball. Clig also contributes offensively, using her pace to get to the final third in no time and making great decisions with the ball.
