Guerrero is a top ranked defender in this class. She’s been part of the US Soccer Youth National team in the past. She is a well rounded center back with potential to be the best center back in this class.

She’s confident and comfortable on the ball. She can beat the press either with the pass or off the dribble. There are characteristics to her game that suggest a professional future especially with her passing ability.

Guerrero does dive in too much defensively. She needs to be better keeping her feet moving and not charging into tackles.

A member of the US U15 national team on their recent trip to Europe, Guerrero is one of the building blocks of Solar’s excellent defensive system. Typically used as a left-sided center back, she works very well in partnership with Sutton Kelly Sutton Kelly 5'8" | D Woodrow Wilson | 2029 State TX as the two complement each other well to help their team produce clean sheets. Guerrero is very quick and intelligent with her movement in the backline, which allows her to thrive when facing opponents in 1v1 duels, but also to step into the right spots and make defensive plays after her teammates are beaten. The defender also shows calm and quality every time she gets on the ball and is very effective at moving it upfield with intelligent passing.

The biggest takeaway from her game that I saw on game film was her mobility. She moves her feet side to side really well. She tracks speedy forwards and stays in front of them. She’s an excellent individual defender as a center back, which could suggest a future at outside back as well. The quality on the ball is there as well. She can break pressure with her passing and vision. Guerrero is an outstanding prospect.
