About Katherine

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Excellent Defender who is fearless and skilled enough to advance the ball and drive forward. Can be trusted to lead the Center backs and manage the defense or to play Outside back and work to score.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Cool and Calm on the ball. Level headed and trustworthy. Always scanning the field to make sure her defense is picking up all threats. Will always look for the safe pass rather than forcing the ball into danger.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Play for the SoCal Blues ECNL team. Played on a select team that traveled to New Zealand for tournaments during the 2023 Women’s World Cup. Selected to the 2010 SoCal PDP team. JSerra Varsity Football team as a Freshman and played Varsity Summer League as an 8th grader. JSerra Varsity Soccer as a Freshman and was First Team All Trinity League. Went to ECNL National Playoffs every season of ECNL.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Helped Club Team to #1 National Defense Ranking and advance to the ECNL National Finals in Virginia in 2023 as a Starting Center Back. Club Team has advanced to the ECNL National Playoffs in 2023\2024\2025 as a Starting Center Back. 2025 JSerra Varsity Soccer 2nd in the Trinity League and Open Playoffs. 2025 ECNL All-American Team. 2025 ECNL Conference Cup attendee.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that can challenge me physically as well as mentally and help me achieve my dreams.

The JSerra and So Cal Blues standout is quickly gaining national recognition as a top defensive prospect. While watching one of her matches at ECNL Phoenix, it was evident that she is a player who performs well under pressure while keeping her composure and playing with a fearless approach in protecting the backline. As a SoCal PDP player with First Team All-Trinity League honors, let’s just say that we will be hearing a lot about Katherine and possibly see her as a rankings riser while currently holding the #185 rank in the nation, #51 in CA, and #15 in her position.
