Very high energy, great ball skills, and an excellent competitor. She was a big time contributor as a freshmen for her High School team Serra who is one of the best teams in the country.

Franny Van Zweeden is a box-to-box midfielder for So Cal Blues 2011 ECNL team. She was part of the U14 Girls National Team West Regional ID Camp earlier this year. She has been a key part of the midfield for one of the most successful teams in California for some time. She’s excellent all-around player. She’s got terrific vision. Her ability to spin off defenders while keeping her balance is a rare trait for a midfielder. She’s an elite finisher for the position. Van Zweeden’s all-around game makes an ideal candidate as a top level No. 8 in this class.
