Butcher will anchor the backline of the DKSC 09 team that is set to face FC Wisconsin, Washington Premier and PDA White over the next few days. Also capable os playing as a defensive midfielder, she plays hard without the ball and is never afraid to go for a sliding tackle. One of Butcher’s main skills as a defensive player is her ability to put pressure on opponents, which makes of her an excellent stopper inside and around the penalty box, but also very effective when she has to defend higher up on the field. She also has tremendous quality on the ball, using both feet to connect passes and even to finish from distance.
