Garrett brought a lot of energy to Sporting Blue Valley’s offense in a 3-0 win over the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Playing on the right side of the team’s attack, she displayed a well-rounded game, using different tools to create problems for their opponents. A very physical player, Garrett was good at getting the ball with her back to the goal, but also had strong runs with the ball, dribbling opponents and bringing the ball inside to finish chances. She also had a good presence inside the penalty box to get on the end of crosses coming from the left side.

Garrett is a forward/center back in her player profile. I think she is a right wing back at the next level. It’s the best position to utilize some of her elite attributes. She is a sprinter on the field. She has a number of clips that showcase her recovery speed. She battles well in duels and likes to get forward through combination play or overlapping runs. She is a very good attacking player who can be impactful off the ball as she does well with the timing of her runs to get on the end of crosses. Garrett’s quality shines in the ECNL.
