Belcher is a critical player for FC Dallas, dominating the center of the field and playing with tremendous intensity. She’s very active on and off the ball and consistently finds ways to connect passes and create plays. Belcher has great movement off the ball, at times getting the ball from the backline to push it forward and connect with the attacking players. She takes great care of the ball, beating opponents off the dribble and using her excellent vision to make things happen.

Belcher was extremely active in midfield for FC Dallas and almost every offensive play orchestrated by the team went through her. She was excellent at understanding the game and connecting intelligent passes, which kept the team in a strong offensive rhythm, while also keeping Lonestar under pressure. Belcher was at times marked very closely, but found ways to beat opposing defenders with quick moves to keep the ball and continued to create chances. She also worked well further up in the field, connecting quick passes around the penalty box and finding teammates in good spots.

Belcher has developed a strong reputation in the country playing as a midfielder, but her ability to create and finish chances has pushed her closer to the goal and she’s been playing up top with both her high school team Colleyville Heritage and DKSC 07. Her positioning is excellent, always offering a passing option to her teammates, and her technical skills are also a big part of her game. Belcher is great at dribbling in tight spaces and plays very directly, always looking for the goal. She’s a very good finisher too, remaining extremely calm in front of the goal and finishing at the best possible moment.
