Ryder is a phenomenal striker who proves to be devastating in the final third. Direct and determined, she goes through the opposing defense easily. She makes movements in the final third look simple with how great she exploits spaces. With or without the ball, she’ll find a space to get a shot off. When she receives the ball in these spaces, she makes her presence felt. With eyes firmly on the prize, she finalizes chances constantly and from wherever she reasonably can. These shots are the perfect mix of power and precision, making the goalkeeper’s job impossible. In the air, she also makes herself felt. She’ll go up for headers and come out on top, allowing her the possibility to finish chances there as well.

Ryder is a striker who makes her team strong in attack with her sheer ability. Fast and agile, stopping her on the break is a near impossible task for opposing defenders. Her ability to find space to run in is great too, knowing exactly when and where to exploit it. On the break, she tends to stay central, piercing through the defensive line. This gives her teammates a direct pass into her path so she can take a shot. However, she also is very selfless. If she needs to drop deep or go out wide to receive and create, she doesn’t struggle one bit. Her agility and quick thinking allows for her to create space to then play it into teammates in shooting positions. Another quality of hers is her aerial ability.

Defensively, she does well taking away options for the back line and presses well.
