Expert Analysis
Guilherme Torres | Prep Soccer Scout
Hashimoto played as an inverted winger on the right and was very active for RSL in the final third. He used his pace and dribbling skills to make plays out wide, but also came inside and was very involved in their playmaking. Hashimoto dropped to get on the ball and combined well with outside back Hunter Peralta to attack the left side of the Dynamo’s backline. He scored his team’s third goal in a play in which he timed his run well to stay onside and showed calm to finish, sending the ball into the lower coner with a well-placed right-footed shot.

Rylan Hashimoto Rylan Hashimoto 6'0" | F #7 Nation UT is a forward for Sacramento Republic. He has been called into US Soccer Talent ID events for Northern California for the 09 age group. He is a center forward who is good on the ball and can play with his back to the goal. The aspect of Hashimoto’s game that stands out is his anticipation and knack for reading the game. He scores a lot of goals by adjusting his runs and looking for different angles to get on the end of crosses. He’s also an excellent passer and could perhaps drop into a role as an attacking midfielder.
