Expert Analysis

In her second season with the Oakland Soul. Siedel somehow brings experience to this group of young players already getting a considerable run with this team last season. The Oakland Soul are showing their commitment to giving kids a great run in their first team. Siedel just won another trophy with the USYNT in Spain a couple of weeks ago.

The #4 ranked 2029 player in the nation made some big plays during the Dragons’ run in the playoffs. Sadie had a huge game in the NorCal title match against Buchanan as she contributed 2 goals in the 4-0 championship win. I also saw her slice through the Carondelet defense during O’Dowd’s NCS Open Division championship match, where she got an awesome assist for the Dragons’ first goal. She plays with poise and intensity at a high pace. The USYNT U-16 player is making a name on the national level, and it will be great to see her compete at the higher levels. Despite being one of the best players in the nation for the class of 2029, she looks to have unlimited potential, and her ceiling remains high as her competitiveness seems to have a liking effect on others.

The Mustang midfielder plays with a natural smoothness to her game, showing clean footwork and control in tight spaces. She’s proving to be an effective shooter throughout the current high school season. She consistently finds good looks and strikes with confidence.
One of her biggest strengths is her ability to turn quickly under pressure, creating separation and opening up passing lanes. In addition her composure and technical quality, she’ll be a standout to watch during these upcoming friendlies.

Sadie played exceptionally well in the two matches I’ve covered at the tourney. This was from Day 1 vs. Eagles SC . Her top-level dribbling skills, quick change of speed, and excellent passing skills set her apart from the rest. Siedel is an elite player who recently competed for the USYNT U-16 team. She had a great high school season with a huge performance in the NorCal final with 2 goals and an assist to propel her team to the inaugural state Division 1 final. She’s ranked #1 in California and #1 in position, as well as #4 in the nation for the class of 2029. She should be a ranking riser soon and possibly become a California Gatorade Player of the Year candidate in the near future if she decides to continue playing for Bishop O-Dowd, as they seem poised to make another epic run next season.

The freshman phenom made big plays in the first half, despite being marked by a Monarch defender. Her quick and precise passes almost got the Dragons on the board. The Mater Dei defense made it a priority to collapse on her once she got possession to prevent the top-level player from getting the crowd going. The U-16 USYNT player had a few shots on goal, and she also made a few runs to the 18 and almost broke into the defensive line. Siedel is one of the best players in the nation for the class of 2029, and she looks to have unlimited potential, and I look forward to seeing her compete with her Mustang SC team soon at ECNL Phoenix.

The Bishop O’Dowd freshman is one of the best players in the nation for the class of 2029, and she is also a rising star on the U-16 USYNT. I was impressed with her poise and composure in this high-stakes match. She played as if she were a junior or senior, as her skill level is off the charts. Sadie got the assist on the first Dragons goal, and she got the crowd going every time she touched the ball. She’s a player we will hear a lot about in USNT soccer.

Just getting back from Spain competing for the USYNT Siedel is now with her High School squad Bishop O’Dowd. The Dragons are a threat to win a state championship with Siedel as one of their key contributors to that cause. It is hard to look at Siedel’s game and notice any glaring weaknesses. She has so much to offer on a soccer field with elite athleticism, superlative technique and an incredible competitive engine.

Siedel is a special young talent with all the physical and technical tools to make a living playing soccer. Excellent facilitator and extremely versatile attacking player. Fast, tall and long with a library of moves that defenders hate to play against. She is one that should definitely consider re-classing up as she can step onto campus in 2028 as a day 1 starter for a top program in my opinion.

At #1 we have the Oakland native and Mustang Soccer Club superstar. Siedel is a special talent who has two great feet, endless energy and truly superlative technique. She can play 7 through 11 at an extremely high level. She has been a fixture at youth national team camps and already has a couple USLW appearances for the Oakland Soul which unfortunately got cut a little short after sustaining a foot injury. She is headed to Bishop O’Dowd high school this year whom with the addition of her and the great roster that is already in place has a real shot at winning a Norcal State Championship.

One of the youngest players competing with this age group. She will be entering her Freshman year of high school, but her skill level is that of at least 2 years up. She is a perfect example of how the COPA assessment can support the development of players which have a body type of players up to 2-3 years beyond their age group. Her physical attributes and soccer skills have placed her at a level much higher than her peers. Sadie has already been a USYNT U-15 call up during the April camp in Georgia. She is already an Elite Player and it will be great to see her progression.
