Lathrop was the catalyst for Glenelg’s attack all season, including scoring a brace in the Maryland 2A State Championship semifinals. A very tactically sound midfielder that can make superb diagonal runs at goal, Lathrop is unafraid to take shots at both close range and from distance. She has verbally committed to playing college soccer in 2024 at Purdue University.

Lathrop has verbally committed to play college soccer at Purdue University in 2024. The Maryland United senior was a member of the 2021-2022 ECNL Mid Atlantic All-Conference U17 team last season and was named to the 2004/2005 ECNL National Selection Program this summer. She is one of the more experienced players in the region, having served as MUFC’s captain since 2018 (she is also the team’s top goal-scorer for her age group during the same time span). Lathrop plays both forward and midfielder and generally seems comfortable playing both positions (She plays more as an attacking midfield for MUFC but plays primarily at forward for her high school Glenelg).
