Shaw is an important piece in the Kingwood team that will compete in the Cougar Bracket, having Cy Woods as their first opponents. She’s an intelligent and versatile player, who can play multiple roles for the team, but appears more often at right back. Shaw is very technical, being capable of using both feet to execute passes, dribbles and shots, and her superior decision-making makes her actions very smooth. She can be a threat going forward, displaying an interesting ability to get to the end line and connect passes in the final third, but is also a solid defensive player, keeping things under control in her area of the field.

Shaw is a key player for her HTX 07 team. With her ability to play at either outside back spot and also as a defensive midfielder at a high level, she’s a player every coach would love to have. Shaw is mostly used on the right, where she is able to add more offensively, with intelligent and direct runs to get to the end line. She’s very sound technically, using both feet very well to pass and dribble, and also produces at a high level on both sides of the ball, connecting good passes and making strong defensive stops. Wherever she’s placed, Shaw plays with a lot of intensity and brings a lot of energy to the field.
