Cantu's heroics began in the semifinals, when he scored the game-winning goal against San Elizario with less than a minute to play. The left-footed striker came up big in the Championship game too, scoring twice within the first five minutes and giving his team total control of the match, and was awarded as the Most Valuable Player. A football kicker, Cantu has a powerful kick and used it to score goals for the Pirates in Georgetown.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6439d2bb947c7"} /-->

A sophomore, he stepped up to a key role with the Pirates and remained calm and consistency in the biggest moment of the season, leading the team to a pair of shutouts in Georgetown. That should be no surprise coming from Castaneda, who has a clutch performance in the Region 4 Final, stopping two penalty kicks from Boerne in the shoot-out that booked Hidalgo's ticket to the State Tournament.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6439d2bb94870"} /-->
