DEL MAR, California - The ECNL playoffs came to an end for a number of teams on Tuesday as group play wrapped up in a couple of age groups. The group winners and wild cards advanced to the Round of 16 - plus some of the teams wrapped up games from the other postseason events taking place at the Surf Sports Complex.

[player_tooltip player_id='25660' first='Katie' last='Scott'], Internationals 06 - There is an expected sound when watching a youth game. From how the teams cheer to the rhythm of passing and tackles so when something sounds different it stands out a lot - even more so than when something looks out of place, when the audio is changed, it's glaring. When Scott strikes a soccer ball, it sounds like a professional soccer player is on the field. She hits the ball with so much force that it seems like it might explode. Scott is a skillful player who is a joy to watch. Comfortable and confident with either foot, Scott skated around defenders on Tuesday. She is going to be successful at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='25119' first='Annamarie' last='Williams'], Internationals 06 - Williams had an ideal outing for a defensive midfielder. She played simple and let the ball do the work.

[player_tooltip player_id='21699' first='Grace' last='Maddox'], GSA 06 - Maddox does a bit of everything for her team. From the key tackles to the long throw-ins, Maddox is involved all over the field for her side. She was a stellar on Tuesday.

[player_tooltip player_id='25146' first='Cassandra' last='Nagy'], Internationals 06 - Nagy got in the way of a number of passes and crosses against GSA. She did a great job of making life tough on GSA to get past her.

[player_tooltip player_id='21527' first='Alexandra' last='Gib'], GSA 06 - Loyola (IL) nabbed Gib's commitment last month and it was a big score for the program. The attacking midfielder was excellent on Tuesday. She popped up in right spots and was pulling the strings for her side. Carly Oubs was also a standout for GSA.

Eliana Egeland, Eclipse Select 06 - The speedy winger was one of the bright spots of Eclipse's wild 4-5 loss to VDA. In the wide open game, she was a constant threat in the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='138614' first='Amy' last='Angel'], VDA 06 - Angel made some really impressive passes in the game on Tuesday. The midfielder was pinging the ball around the pitch. She kept the game open with her quick passing and vision.

[player_tooltip player_id='24954' first='Meredith' last='Palmer'], Charlotte SA 06 - Palmer made a number of great plays during the 2-0 win over San Juan on Tuesday. She was important piece of the CSA side that finished atop of the group.

Tyler Clybrun, Charlotte SA 06 - Clyburn played left back in the game against San Juan. She did well getting forward. She looked like she was right footed, but she had an excellent cross with her left foot.

Abby LaRocca, San Juan 06 - LaRocca made a couple of blocks early against Charlotte SA 06. She also put in a few good tackles to slow down the opposition. [player_tooltip player_id='19435' first='Giada' last='Pagano'] was also a standout for San Juan.

Alex Pfeiffer, SLSG Navy 06 - Pfeiffer was playing some of the best soccer I've seen from her on Tuesday. Her decision-making in the final third has improved and she is playing at a faster pace. This is the type of player that professional scouts should be looking at. She was the best player I saw on Tuesday.

[player_tooltip player_id='23405' first='Caroline' last='Birkel'], SLSG Navy 06 - Birkel had two outstanding saves in the first half against World Class. She is a very talented goalkeeper.

[player_tooltip player_id='23542' first='Mia' last='Devrouax'], SLSG Navy 06 - Devrouax scored the opening goal off an assist from Pfeiffer. She was dynamic in the attack and did well finishing her chances.

[player_tooltip player_id='26573' first='Brooklyn' last='Miller'], Solar SC 06 - Miller scored two more goals on Tuesday as she pushed her tally from the event to six goals from the first three games.

[player_tooltip player_id='22699' first='Paige' last='Kush'], Maryland United 06 - Kush was one of the Maryland United standouts against Ohio Premier on Tuesday. The center back won headers and stood her ground in the tackle to stop the counter.

Fina Davy, Ohio Premier 06 - Davy was pulling the strings in the attack for Ohio Premier. She made some nice slicing passes that helped open up the field for her side. Natalie Hoover and Alexis Knisely were also standouts for OP.

[player_tooltip player_id='27428' first='HopeAnne' last='Munson'], Utah Avalanche 06 - Munson was solid at left back for Utah Avalanche in the game against OK Energy on Tuesday.
