SubscribeThe club soccer season continues at full pace and after three weeks of play, it’s already possible to determine teams who are up to a good start to their seasons and those who had some early struggles and are looking to bounce back as quickly as possible.
The Texas Conference of the ECNL Girls League is going to have another busy week, with matches going on across the states of Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado. As we prepare to follow the exciting encounters that are going to take place, here are three sides to keep an eye on over the next few days:
Albion Hurricanes FC G06/05
The team from Houston wasn’t able to bring any points from their trip to Colorado two weeks ago, falling to the Colorado Rapids and Real Colorado National, and will try to start moving up on the standings this weekend, when they host Pride SC on Saturday and Real Colorado Athletico on Sunday. They have a well-rounded roster, that can compete with anyone in the division and that features talent everywhere. On defense,

Real Colorado National G07
The team from Colorado had an excellent pair of weeks so far in ECNL play, getting three wins and a draw in their first four matches while scoring 15 goals and conceding just two. This weekend, Real Colorado will have a good chance to continue in good form by hosting Sting Austin on Saturday and Classics Elite on Sunday. The team has an excellent goalkeeper in Kylie Brookfield, a defensive anchor in Emma Fassora (who can also be a threat in set pieces), a lot of talent in midfield in Celina Frenz, a player who can create and finish chances, and a potent offensive trio in Abby Ballek, Raleigh Greason and Sienna Eckert.
Sting Austin G08
The side from Texas’ capital navigated its first two matches of the season extremely well, getting 3-0 home wins against Tulsa SC and OK Energy FC. This weekend, however, Sting will be on the road, facing the Real Colorado National on Saturday and the Colorado Rapids on Sunday. Yet to concede a goal in the season,
