Another weekend of matches is coming up in the Girls Academy Soccer League and it's going to be a big one in the Frontier Conference, with the two clubs from the Houston area, Rise SC and HTX, battling each other in every age group from U13 to U19 on Sunday.

The duel in the U17 Age Group, scheduled to start at 2:00 at South Campus, seems poised to be an exciting one, with Rise playing at home and eager to get revenge for the 4-1 win their crosstown rivals secured on their home turf in the Woodlands just three weeks ago.

Here's all you need to know about the two teams:

RISE SC G07 GA

Rise are currently in sixth place in the division with three wins, five losses and two ties. Two of their victories came in their home field and last week they had solid displays, beating St. Louis Development Academy 2-0 and limiting division leaders Lou Fusz to a 1-0 win. [player_tooltip player_id='27252' first='Sofie' last='Brandsberg-Dahl'] normally starts between the posts for Rise and the team's backline has Francesca Johnson at center back and Samantha Pham and Grace Robertson in the two outside back positions. The midfield is one of the strengths of the team with Ava Ramos shielding the backline and Arianna Espana and Mellany Gallegos leading the team's chance-creation. In the attack, Haley Nguyen is very dangerous when in wider positions while El Salvador international Breanna Medina is a reliable goal-scorer, who uses her movement and quality on the ball to hurt defenses.

HTX G07 GA

HTX are in third place in the Frontier Conference with eight wins, two losses and one tie. This past weekend, they had three matches, falling to Lou Fusz 5-1 before beating San Antonio City SC 6-3 and St. Louis Development Academy 4-2. [player_tooltip player_id='54811' first='Patty' last='Staton'] is the team's goalkeeper. HTX have three solid options at center back in Emily Fowles, Maddie Burchfiel and Ella Davis while the high-energy Emma Bates and the physical Dayla Henderson line up with them at full back. HTX's midfield trio of Zoeh Byrd-Figueroa, [player_tooltip player_id='54810' first='Jasmine' last='Diaz'] and [player_tooltip player_id='89902' first='Sophia' last='Saludares'] delivers intensity and quality on the ball. Up top, pacey wingers [player_tooltip player_id='55783' first='Rhegan' last='Coombs'] and [player_tooltip player_id='84677' first='Sohana' last='Spencer'] try to feed physical and skilled striker [player_tooltip player_id='89908' first='Madison' last='Taylor'].
