Held from Thursday to Saturday, the three-day event will reunite as many as 64 teams from Houston and beyond. They will compete in eight brackets, hosted by high school programs in the ultra-competitive Katy ISD.
Prep Soccer will be following the action later in the week, but, between now and then, let’s take a look at some of the most promising prospects that will be on the field. We start with the goalkeepers.

Sophia Lipari Sophia Lipari 5'7" | GK Lake Creek | 2026 TX
The starting goalkeeper for Lake Creek, Lipari does a very good job for them between the posts. A shot-stopper with good size and excellent decision-making, she brings a lot of defensive stability to the team. Lipari is very good at reading opponents and that helps her make the right choices with her actions. She’s very reliable when leaving her spot to collect crosses or pick up loose balls and also displays great reflexes to make stops in short-distance shots.
Mackenzie Smith
Mackenzie Smith
A senior with George Ranch, Smith is one of those goalkeepers whose presence makes the entire team feel safer and more confident. Extremely consistent, she delivers when it matters and is always very reliable with her actions. Smith will very rarely allow a second-chance opportunity for opponents, either firmly catching shots or sending them out of bounds. Also very strong in the air, she can punt the ball well across the midfield line and is often accurate with her long passes.
Mia Rodriguez
Mia Rodriguez
Playing for San Antonio’s Churchill, Rodriguez will be one of the toughest goalkeepers to score at this week in Katy. The first thing that stands out in her game is her 5’10” frame, which makes things considerably easier for her between the posts, be it when having the reach to collect crosses or using the length to get to shots. Her big frame also puts extra pressure on opposing forwards, who often make mistakes when attempting to send the ball out of her reach. Rodriguez is also very agile and quick when dealing with short-distance shots.
Jaelyn Bracamonte
Jaelyn Bracamonte
A very explosive and dynamic goalkeeper, Bracamonte can be a difference-maker to her team Clear Lake. She’s one to make impressive saves with her agility and keeps her production steady during matches. Bracamonte’s agility between the posts helps her in a variety of ways as she’s very quick to get to loose balls, has the reflexes to make stops in close-distance shots and finds her way through players to collect crosses. A strong leader, Bracamonte also has a very good success rate when trying to stop penalty kicks.
In her second season with Cypress Ranch, Crawford will be one of the key pieces of the team. She’s very calm and efficient between the posts and offers a lot of stability to the team. One of Crawford’s main strengths is her ability to collect or deflect crosses inside the penalty box – she reads the trajectory of the ball extremely well and moves well inside the penalty box. She’s very safe with her actions between the posts and also does a very good with putting the ball back in play with quickness and efficiency.
