Regional quarterfinals are up next, with matches taking place on April 1 and 2, and here's one to watch:

Prosper vs. Heron - April 2 - 6:00 PM - @ Melissa Kenny Deel Stadium

Prosper

The Lady Eagles were third in District 5, completing their district schedule with ten wins, two losses and two ties. In the postseason, they Coppell 2-1 after two overtimes in bi-district and topped Arlington 5-2 in the area round. Prosper have a season record of 21 wins, two losses and two ties, with 99 goals scored and just 22 conceded.

Junior [player_tooltip player_id='26359' first='Trinity' last='Morken'] gets most of the minutes at goalkeeper and is extremely reliable between the posts. Prosper have a top-notch backline, which features options such as the versatile [player_tooltip player_id='27199' first='Rhiannon' last='Mahon'] (sophomore) and Beya Rosales (senior) and freshman [player_tooltip player_id='112582' first='Trinity' last='Morrow']. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='27185' first='Reagan' last='Cox'] and junior [player_tooltip player_id='54813' first='Olivia' last='Hess'] pull the strings in midfield, offering great quality on the ball. The Lady Eagles also have a lethal frontline featuring seniors Isa Fregoso, [player_tooltip player_id='26573' first='Brooklyn' last='Miller'] and junior [player_tooltip player_id='27187' first='Reagan' last='Roberts'].

https://x.com/PHSWomensSoc/status/1773902322172604869?s=20

Hebron

The Lady Hawks ranked third in District 6 with a campaign of nine wins, two losses and three ties. Hebron overcame Guyer in PKs after a 2-2 tie in bi-district and then defeated Highland Park 1-0 in the area round. The team has 18 wins, three losses and four ties during the season, with 85 goals scored and 34 allowed.

Senior Destinie Apodaca has been huge for Hebron in the postseason, making big stops saving PKs. They have two of the best outside backs in the state in junior [player_tooltip player_id='26623' first='Chloe' last='Nugent'] and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='89659' first='Lily' last='Weiss']. Seniors Molly Lundy and Jacey Beer and sophomore Maddie Martinez provide stability in midfield. Hebron's offense has plenty of talent, with sophomores [player_tooltip player_id='26972' first='Leah' last='Simpson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='26833' first='Jordan' last='Hill'] being able to create and score chances and junior [player_tooltip player_id='21272' first='Layla' last='Thompson'] operating well inside the penalty box.

https://x.com/Hawksgirlsoccer/status/1773895955168792643?s=20
