Bartlett is a rising freshman who will be attending Bakersfield Christian, and travels to Ventura County to play for Eagles SC. That is some serious dedication. She's a very active forward, one who changes speed and direction well, even when she's not on the ball. She has great technical skills. She shows great finesse when on the ball and texturing with her passes, which are precise. She makes very good decisions on the pitch, and shows a mental toughness and confidence well beyond her years. She is incredibly fit and plays the game with love and passion. A vocal leader, Bartlett is improving every day and is working on improving her agility and shot-taking ability as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='213584' first='Laila' last='Haness'], Forward, LAFC, Class of 2028

Haness is a rising freshman at Oaks Christian and plays club with LAFC. She is a prodigious young talent. She is a versatile attacker, who can play on either side as a forward, and will pressure outside backs, beat them with her speed and use her agility, her ability to cut in and deliver a good ball to be dangerous. Haness is very comfortable with the ball at her feet, showing very good dribbling and passing skills. Off the ball she makes good runs as her timing is such that she is very dangerous. With a good shot on goal, she is always looking to be a threat and she is very dangerous once in the area. She is also very hard to handle in 1v1 situations. She works hard, has an aggressive playing style and understands the game at a tactical level.

[player_tooltip player_id='85859' first='Payton' last='Henry'], Central Midfielder, SoCal Blues, Class of 2026

Henry plays at Murrieta Valley High, and earned captain's status as a sophomore this past season. The SoCal Blues center mid is a strong player who is excellent at winning the ball, be it in the air or on the ground. She also likes to move forward and help create in the attack as she can really play a through ball. She's so strong in the air that on set plays, she is very dangerous. She moves so well off the ball on free kicks and corners that she is a true scoring threat. Soccer is her passion and it shows with how she controls the middle of the pitch, how she communicates with her teammates and how she interacts with them off the pitch.

[player_tooltip player_id='85857' first='Piper' last='Henry'], Defender, SoCal Blues, Class of 2028

Henry will be attending Murrieta Valley High, joining her sisters Payton and Presley, who are twins and play at the same school and for the same club, SoCal Blues. Piper is a rising freshman and plays for the 2010 ECNL team. She is a strong defender, who can play wide or centrally, and she shows an aggressive nature as she pressures attackers well. She is very fast and can transition quickly from a defensive dispossession into moving forward on the attack. She is always looking to gain more knowledge and works very hard to elevate her game by improving her skill set.

[player_tooltip player_id='179770' first='Katarina' last='Pinero'], Midfielder, SoCal Blues, Class of 2025

Pinero is a Swiss army knife of sorts as she is a true utility player. She can play any position on the pitch, but primarily plays in the midfield. She plays at Temecula Valley High and travels up to Irvine to play club for the SoCal Blues. The rising senior is clearly a versatile player who excels at both ends of the pitch. Pinero shows excellent spatial awareness and this allows her to move the ball quickly and she is effective in doing so, opening up scoring chances for her teammates. She is also smart enough to know when to take on defenders, and with her ball skills she can get past and create chances for herself. An aggressive player, she is athletically strong and can knock players off the ball to recover possession and then transition quickly into the attack. She is a good vocal leader and helps with positive energy for her team.

[player_tooltip player_id='178194' first='Jordan' last='Prough'], Defender, Santa Monica Surf, Class of 2026

Prough attends Crossroads in Santa Monica and the rising junior plays for Santa Monica Surf where she is a captain. The defender was chosen for the Surf Select National team in both 2023 and 2024. Prough is very intelligent, not just because she has nearly a 4.0 GPA, but she is a smart player on the pitch who sees the game well. She is an aggressive defender, one who will win aerial duels, who can tackle and dispossess and once she does, she shows how good she is with the ball at her feet. She can possess, traveling up the field with the ball. She also has incredible placement with passes, be it on the floor or a long ball over the top. She is also a terrific free kick and corner kick taker, which you can see here.
