Rising Texas 2027 Talents: Top Players for Scouts to Track

She is going to be getting a lot of attention during this season. She is a five-foot-10 star for her side. She has all of the tools to be a top player in this class and her performance during the ECNL postseason showcased that quality. She has continued to perform at an elite level at the start of the campaign this year. She can play in the midfield and dominate the game or she can play up top and be a target. Either way, she has performed at a high level in either role. She was named to the ECNL All-Conference First Team. She was only 2027 from Texas to earn that recognition. Tran is a hardworking talented player and deserved the spotlight for her play during the 2023/2024 season. She's right footed. Uses her body well to hold off defenders. Showed comfort on the ball to play out of pressure and also impressive vision to make some passes during the playoffs that opportunities for her side. She is a new addition to the team this year. She was a standout at the high school level as a freshman and earned 1st Team All-District honors. Carney is a dynamic attacking talent who can play any role in the attack. She has the outright pace and skill to do well on the wing. She has the strength and finishing ability to be a strong fit as a center forward. Her strength is in the press though. Carney is one of the best forwards at capitalizing on the mistakes of defenders. She has quickness and tenacity to get into the duel, but it's actually her patience to delay and then poke the ball free cleanly to create that chance that is unique compared to her peers. She is a forward who is skillful with both feet and a creative playmaker in the final third. Tate's best role is playing as a support striker. She can play as a back-to-the-goal No. 9 as well. She is excellent at picking out the runs of teammates and and creating chances with her passing. She is a good finisher around the box as well. She listed as a midfielder on her player profile, but I've mainly seen her play as an outside back. Struyk is 5'9, athletic, and competitive. She already checks a lot of boxes to suggest she will me an impact player at the next level. She is tenacious in the tackle and a flyer on the wing. She will get forward and make an impact. She played left back during the ECNL playoffs. She is an excellent 1v1 defender. She moves her feet well and stays in front of the attacker. She has the pace to keep up with the best wingers in the top league. Wilson can also play as a winger. She was named to the All-Regional League Texas U16 team for her play last season. She is also part of the Romanian National Team at the U15 level. Cojanu is a winger. She was a key part of the Solar team that advanced to the finals last season. She is one of the most gifted attacking players in this class. She is lethal on set pieces and can be a real asset from dead ball situations. She could improve on her play in the transition. She can be a step slow to jump into the press. Cojanu showed enough last season that she should be getting looks from scouts as she proves to be one of the best in the 08 Regional League. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
