Kasperson was with the Real Colorado National team that tied all three matches in Dallas. I watched them on Sunday, when their match against Bethesda SC ended 2-2, and the forward had a solid shift. Playing as a striker, Kasperson had a clear size advantage over most of the opposing defenders and she used it very well to work with her back to the goal. She was excellent at getting on the end of long passes and, on several occasions, managed to send the ball directly to a teammate with one-time passes. Kasperson was also very active defensively a did a good job of pressing opposing defenders.

Burda played for the Chicago Inter Soccer team that completed their schedule in the event with one win and two losses. She was very active and productive in their only victory over the weekend, a 1-0 triumph against DKSC on Sunday. Burda lined up as a striker for the team, but was extremely mobile in the final third, consistently dropping back to get on the ball. She displayed excellent vision operating as a playmaker and sent great diagonal passes for the wingers. The striker was dangerous around the penalty box, making quick turns to create space to finish chances.

Nordstrom and her Sting Austin team went undefeated over the weekend, collecting two wins and a tie. Their offense was in great form, scoring nine goals in three matches, and she was a big part of it. A physical player, she served as a reference for their offense in a 2-0 win over Washington Premier on Sunday and did a great job when working with her back to the goal. Nordstrom also spent some time playing a little bit deeper, as a second forward, and displayed an interesting ability to finish from distance.

Hindson appeared for the Eclipse Select team that had one win, one tie and one loss in the showcase. She was consistently dangerous on Sunday, when her team lost to Sting Black in a fun 3-2 match. Extremely athletic, she had different roles with the team during the match, spending some time more centrally and also appearing out wide. Hindson was very active in the center, combining well with her teammates and displaying a great ability to operate in tight spaces. She was also dangerous when getting the ball on the wings as she made direct, strong diagonal runs that were very difficult to stop.

Granger's SLSG Navy team ended the weekend undefeated, with two wins and one tie. I got to watch them in a 1-1 tie with Seattle United on Sunday and the forward managed to be dangerous against one of the best defensive teams in the division. The forward used her physical and technical skills very well and created many problems for their opponents. Granger played primarily on the left and made some good plays out wide. She also had some dangerous diagonal runs, bringing the ball inside and combining with her teammates.

Dallas had a strong offense, scoring 13 goals in three matches, and the forward accounted for three of them. I got to watch the team on Sunday, when they topped SLSG Green 4-0 and DeHoyos scored the team's second goal with a nice header. She spent more time on the left side of their attack and was consistently dangerous with her ability to beat defenders with her pace and dribbling. DeHoyos also appeared very well in the penalty box to finish chances and, in one of those plays, she scored her goal.
