I am honored and grateful to be able to provide coverage on this event. Love that fact that it offers a free assessment for players born between 2005 and 2013. As their motto states' “We're building AN OBJECTIVE PATHWAY for players to get seen.” How does one get an invitation you might ask. All you need to do is earn an invite? Just sign up for innovative player assessment #copastc and Take your COPA Score by July 15 to qualify.

During the previous COPA X Racing Louisville Talent ID Event held in March, [player_tooltip player_id='199883' first='Mercy' last='Karson'] earned the free Pro Trial at Racing Louisville. Mercy will be attending the pro trial very soon - will keep you posted.

The groundbreaking free initiative offered 1000 free assessment slots at COPA STC. Female players aged 15-22 with aspirations to play professional soccer were the key focus. Each player attending the event earned their spot at the Pro Pathway Event with @racinglouisvillefc through the #COPAScore – an objective, data-driven assessment. Their skills and potential were objectively measured and profiled versus professional standards. Then, the best 30 were invited to compete on the field in front of scouts.

When objective data and performance are matched, we get results which elevate players to some of the highest levels in youth soccer. Some of the standouts from the March event are fixtures in the U.S. National youth teams. Players such as [player_tooltip player_id='199883' first='Mercy' last='Karson'], [player_tooltip player_id='202683' first='Jayla' last='Swindle'], [player_tooltip player_id='146239' first='Rhea' last='Moore'], and [player_tooltip player_id='146238' first='Kendall' last='Conway'] are examples of such.

Starting with [player_tooltip player_id='202683' first='Jayla' last='Swindle'] (Prep Soccer – 2028 – Midfield - ranked #24 in CA and #9 in position), our Prep Soccer Girls ID Camp: Norcal 2024 Standout, recently competed in the U.S. 2010 ODP National Team in Costa Rica. They picked up a 5-1 win against the U17 Carmelita FF side. In game two, they also won 4-0 against Saprissa. I also covered Jayla at the COPA X Racing Louisville Talent ID Event in March. During the high school season, Swindle was the Sierra Delta League Offensive MVP, while leading the league as a Freshman with 46 goals and 14 assists. Jayla plays club soccer for [program_tooltip program_id='283257' first='Bay' last='Area Surf'] - ECNL G10, which qualified for the National Playoffs in San Diego with a 2nd place finish in their conference.

Next up, [player_tooltip player_id='199883' first='Mercy' last='Karson'] (Prep Soccer – 2028 – Defender - #10 ranked in the Nation, #12 in CA and #5 in position), earned the free Pro Trial at Racing Louisville, during COPA's previous Pro Pathway event in March: COPA X Racing Louisville Talent ID Event - [player_tooltip player_id='199883' first='Mercy' last='Karson'] will be attending the pro trial very soon. I witnessed the intensity as the time expired in Match #3. Every player hoped to be the chosen one, but the verdict was about to be passed down. After 3 intense, highly competitive, and evenly matched squads, [player_tooltip player_id='199883' first='Mercy' last='Karson'] was chosen for the trial invite with Racing Louisville. Mercy is very deserving of this opportunity, as she has demonstrated her ability to play at a very high level. She is the youngest player of the group but definitely one of the most skilled and fittest and has one of the highest soccer IQs in the group. Mercy is also a member of the U.S. U15 Youth Soccer Team - 2025, and she will be attending training camp in May. She plays club soccer for Mustang SC - ECNL G10, which qualified for the National Playoffs in San Diego with a 3rd place finish in their conference.

Also, [player_tooltip player_id='146238' first='Kendall' last='Conway'] ( [program_tooltip program_id='283672' first='Lamorinda' last='SC'] ) a midfielder and US National U15 player in 2024 showed strong possession skills, found open players, and made some clean tackles. She helped Team USA win the 2024 Concacaf Girls' Under-15 Championship in Costa Rica, scoring 5 goals in the tournament. Conway (Prep Soccer – 2027 – Midfield - #8 in CA and #4 in position) ranks in the 90th percentile for the technical ability against college players. Her ability to control the tempo, break lines with passing, and handle high-pressure moments are her strong points. Conway is also a member of the U.S. U16 Youth Soccer Team - 2025, and she will be attending training camp in May.

Rounding out the group is [player_tooltip player_id='146239' first='Rhea' last='Moore']. I recently covered her team's match against [program_tooltip program_id='283434' first='Pleasanton' last='Rage'] 2 weeks ago. She got the hat trick on the day. Her first goal was from a slip pass just inside the 18 and one touched it as the goalkeeper came out for a challenge. Her second goal was from a PK. her left footed shot went low left corner. Her third goal came from just outside the 18 from a power shot. Overall, she had a field day and her ability to find open pockets gave her high percentage score opportunities. Her San Juan ECNL G09 finished in 2nd place and will be attending the National Playoffs. During the event in March Moore scored 2 goals and solidified herself as one of the top players in CA (Prep Soccer – 2027 – Forward - #52 ranked in the Nation, #14 in CA and #2 in Position). She is also a member of the U.S. U16 Youth Soccer Team - 2025, and she will be attending training camp in May.

Last but not least, [player_tooltip player_id='111106' first='Emilia' last='Gotshall'] received a Top Performer COPA score. She attended the event in March and I believe she will be invited to the upcoming event in July. It is players like Emilia who haven't been on the radar, but have a great upside based on her COPA score in which the event is made for. I will definitely be looking out for her at the event and provide an evaluation.
