Five Names to Know from Florida 2027 Rankings

She has the potential to end up as one of the best players in this class. Adame played for the Puerto Rico U20 team at the Concacaf Championship. She was a center back for her country and did exceptionally well against the US squad at the end, which should give college coaches perspective on how she will fare against the best talent at the Division I level - hint, she's going to do well. I've mainly seen Adame play in the defensive midfield role at the club level. There are scouts who like her in either role. I think her ceiling is a little bit higher as a center back, but the offensive production this season in the midfield makes me less confident in that assessment. Adame controls the game at the youth level. She was excellent during the playoffs in running the show for her team. She is always in the right spot to either support a teammate or take away an option for the opposition. She has great vision and does well making quick decisions on the ball. She's a competitive player and fights in every battle. Adame has a bright future in the game and will continue to be a top player in any role on the field.     Suniga is a defender on the FL United 09 GA. She's a dynamic player - quick in the tackle and an excellent dribbler. Suniga possesses the quality to be one of the top outside backs in this class. She has great anticipation skills and does well in the tackle with her timing and technique. When she's on the ball, she's quick to get past the first defender with her skill. She makes good decisions in the transition and creates chances for her team.     [player_tooltip player_id='294924' first='Catalina' last='Leary-Vallejo'] is a new name to the rankings with this update. She was part of the Girls Academy Southeast Talent ID event. She was a star for [program_tooltip program_id='283661' first='IMG' last='Academy']. A stalwart of their defense, she also earned playing time with their U19 team last season. She can play left center back or in the midfield. She looks the part of a college center back. She's a smart player who knows how to time tackles and read the game. She is an excellent passer and contributes to the attack with her key passes.     Kordahi is a new name to the rankings. She is a winger who typically plays on the right side of the formation. She is left footed. She is a downhill type of player. She gets the ball at her feet and she immediately runs at defenders. She's got a powerful shot and she is quick to get it off from the run of play. Kordahi is a dangerous attacking player who is a difference-maker in her role.     Martinez is a midfielder/winger on the [program_tooltip program_id='283348' first='Florida' last='Elite'] 08 ECNL team. She can play in the center or out wide. She stands out from the ECNL level for the confidence she displays on the field. She will give a stare down to the opposition in the walk-out. She has the quality to back up the bravado. Martinez plays with a flair and will humble opponents with her skill. She creates chances with her passing and has the quality to finish off chance as well. She has room to grow in her play off the ball especially defensively.
