Love the fact that COPA offers a free assessment for players born between 2013 and 2008. As their motto states' “We're building AN OBJECTIVE PATHWAY for players to get seen.” How does one get an invitation, you might ask? All you need to do is earn an invite? It will be awesome to feature and evaluate new and up-and-coming talent. Aside from seeing standouts from the previous March 23, 2025, event, I am looking forward to seeing fresh faces in competitive matches, striving to earn a pro trial or to get on the radar of top-level college coaches and scouts, as well as USYNT scouts.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Notable returning standouts are [player_tooltip player_id='19134' first='Aubrey' last='McLin'] ([program_tooltip program_id='283312' first='Davis' last='Legacy']), [player_tooltip player_id='202653' first='Everleigh' last='Porter'] ([program_tooltip program_id='283641' first='De' last='Anza Force']), [player_tooltip player_id='202683' first='Jayla' last='Swindle'] ([program_tooltip program_id='283257' first='Bay' last='Area Surf']), and last but not least, [player_tooltip player_id='199883' first='Mercy' last='Karson'] (Mustang SC). Mercy was awarded the Pro Trial at Racing Louisville in the previous event. Her soccer journey continues as she recently attended the U.S. U-15 Girls' National Team Domestic Training Camp in Fayetteville, Ga. She also had a good showing at the ECNL National Playoffs with her Mustang SC squad, with 1 win and 2 draws.
