Players with Huge Upside from the Texas 2029 Boys Rankings

<p>Prep Soccer released its <a href="https://prepsoccer.com/texas/rankings/boys/2029-rankings/">Texas 2029 Boys State Rankings</a> last week, and the list includes over 50 of the most talented prospects in the Lone Star State.</p>   <p>We've spent the week introducing you to some of the most exciting names of the talented class and here are four more names to folow:</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Gomez is an attacking midfielder with the [program_tooltip program_id='283657' first='Houston' last='Dynamo'] and appears in 10th place in our Rankings. He spent the last MLS Next season with their U14 team and was a key player for them, embracing a big chunk of the team's chance-creation responsibilities. An elite futsal player, Gomez has unbeliavable ball control and is very hard to dispossess when dribbling the ball because he moves very quickly and is capable of performing unpredictable moves to beat opponents. Present in some USYNT ID camps in the past, he's very comfortable working in tight spaces, finding solutions to difficult situations, and has excellent vision to connect passes in the final third.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://www.instagram.com/p/DIUlyQkO5xh/ </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">A defender with HTX, Morrison is the 21st-best-ranked prospect in the Class of 2029. He was a stud for HTX's 15s team in the last ECNL season despite playing one age group up and is on the USYNT radar, having been on some ID camps over the last year. Capable of playing anywhere across the backline, Morrison is a tenacious defender, who thrives in 1v1 duels and times his sliding tackles extremely well, consistently coming out with the play after a clean play. He also has great quality and confidence in possession, helping his team push the ball forward with runs through the middle or the flanks.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyZYwysI2EE </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">Park is an attacking player for GFI, and he got the 23rd spot in our Class of 2029 State Rankings. He played up with the club's U15 team in the last MLS Next season and was consistently dangerous for them. A player who has attended multiple USYNT ID camps in the past, Park is versatile offensively, being capable of playing out wide as a winger or more centrally, behind a true striker. A lefty, he's extremely skilled on the ball and thrives when facing defenders in 1v1 duels out wide, but can also make a difference when dropping deeper to get on the ball and send passes behind the backline. He started for their U14 team in the last MLS Next season and showed interesting qualities between the posts for them. A goalkeeper with good lenght, he's very realiable and confident with his actions in goal and typically handles shots very well, displaying impressive reflexes when he needs to react. Reyes is also very calm and confident on the ball and distributes it well out of the back, avoiding long passes and always picking the best options.</p>
