Morrison moved to 11th place among the ranked defenders in 2029 and took 32nd place overall following the update. He attends Dawson High School and moved clubs during the last season, going from HTX to the Global Football Innovation Academy team that competes in the MLS Next League. Morrison has a versatile profile, which allows him to play anywhere across the backline and even in the attack. He’s most commonly used in central defense and stands out for his positioning and his mobility, which allow him to thrive when defending in space and recovering when passes are sent behind the backline. The center back also has quality and confidence on the ball, often playing a major role in the team’s buildup.

Morrison and his HTX team advanced all the way to the U16 Blue division semifinals, leaving the tournament with four wins and one loss. Despite playing one age group up with them, he’s one of the pillars of their defensive system, playing as a left-sided center back. Extremely mobile and intelligent, he does a great job of keeping opponents under pressure and forcing them away from the penalty box. Morrison is also very effective when he makes defensive actions, timing his tackles well and often coming out with the ball. He has good quality in possession and distributes the ball efficiently from the back.

He was a stud for HTX’s 15s team in the last ECNL season despite playing one age group up and is on the USYNT radar, having been on some ID camps over the last year. Capable of playing anywhere across the backline, Morrison is a tenacious defender, who thrives in 1v1 duels and times his sliding tackles extremely well, consistently coming out with the play after a clean play. He also has great quality and confidence in possession, helping his team push the ball forward with runs through the middle or the flanks.
