The High School season is in full swing, and the Club season is right around the corner. The class of 2027 in the PNW is elite and the number of college commitments before January 1st indicates that is a FACT! Washington State class of 2027 athletes like [player_tooltip player_id='28466' first='Vienna' last='Whipple'], [player_tooltip player_id='28400' first='Saleen' last='Koszorus'] and [player_tooltip player_id='111376' first='Madeline' last='Maves'] have committed to Stanford while [player_tooltip player_id='111378' first='Avery' last='Sleeth'] and [player_tooltip player_id='288076' first='Stella' last='Shaw'] have elected to stay closer to home and commit to their hometown Washington Huskies. These five athletes are ranked in the top 10 in Prep Soccer's Washington State class of 2027 rankings. Oregon also has some ballers that have already committed as well. Juliette Azizi and Shaylie Haij are heading to Central Florida and Boise State respectively, both representing the Portland Thorns Academy ECNL. Juliette and Shaylie are ranked number 1 and 2 in the Oregon class of 2027 rankings. To round out the PNW, Idaho has a couple top ranked athletes that have verbally committed to their school of choice. [player_tooltip player_id='286746' first='Dilynn' last='Revelle'] is staying home and will be playing for the Idaho Vandals while [player_tooltip player_id='111612' first='Lauren' last='Chatterton'] will be taking her talents to the great state of Texas to play at UTSA!

All of these athletes have something in common, the passion and drive to make a difference at the next level. Though these future collegiate playmakers have already decided where they are going to further their academic and athletic career, plenty of their amazingly talented peers have not. There are so many skilled players in the PNW that it can be difficult to connect each individual athlete with their dream school. However, there are a handful of athletes in this class that are already polished gems that every college coach is waiting to find!

Here are 6 uncommitted recruiting locks that will make an immediate impact on any college roster:

[player_tooltip player_id='162009' first='Devon' last='Bankers'] is the top uncommitted GK in the class of 2027. She has an expansive skillset that controls outcomes on the pitch. Powerful clearances set up her teammates for success, while her superior shot stopping abilities, secure victories. This [program_tooltip program_id='283471' first='Seattle' last='United'] ECNL and Sumner HS product can rise to the occasion in big moments and plays with ice in her veins at all levels of competition. From point blank header shots to 1v1 scenarios, she sets the standard. Bankers uses her tall and physical frame well on set pieces and can get low quickly. Her soccer IQ is substantial, and she has excellent shot recognition from post to post. Devon cannot be intimidated in the box and if anything, she is the intimidator. There is one recruiting lock in this class at the goalkeeper position and it is Bankers. She has the skill mastery to start as a freshman in college and the growth potential to be a star. Write her name down now ... you'll be seeing it a lot on Thursdays and Sundays in the NCAA.

Zierenberg is a top shelf athlete that forces you to take notice. Her ability to dominate a possession and move through pressure is special. She may place a beautifully struck through ball at the attacking feet of her teammate or aggressively assault the goal and rip a shot from distance that gives little chance to opposing GK's. You don't know and that is what makes her dangerous. Alexa moves well and has good burst into space. This Owyhee HS standout can move defenders with her eyes and can cleverly break down a back line which allows her to launch screamers on frame. This goal scoring machine will shine at the next level and provided the opportunity, she will not disappoint!

Olivia is a talented forward out of Oregon. She has great field vision and spatial awareness, especially under pressure. She understands tactical concepts very well and moves into space with ease. Bunke's touch on through balls is excellent and consistent which leads to unselfish assists. She has the ability to convince a defense that she is going to distribute and then instead, attack defensive mistakes and make difficult shots through tight windows. Playing for the, Portland Thorns Academy ECNL, has provided her growth both in Club and High School. Piling up All-State and All-Conference accolades at Banks while also earning the coveted Captains arm band, shows her passion and dedication to the game. Olivia should be on collegiate radars and can provide a needed spark for the right program.

Maya roams the midfield looking to make plays at every opportunity. She can push up to the attack and be a menace to opposing defenses or easily transition back to assist her own defense for counter attacks. She is all over the field in a blink of an eye. Atkinson has a forceful shot and prides herself on calculated placement. This Timberline HS junior makes waves on the pitch, scoring and assisting her teammates at will. During club season, she represents Idaho's, [program_tooltip program_id='279633' first='Boise' last='Thorns FC ECNL'] where she shows off her talents in showcases all across the country. Maya is an aggressive and physical player who can control a 50/50 situation with ease. Rarely is she bodied off possession. Another talented athlete from the PNW who has tremendous upside and will fit nicely in the starting 11 for a college program.

Beyersdorf is the heartbeat of the Auburn Riverside Ravens back line. She demands respect with her aggressive play style and her never give up attitude. Hey ability to change a game with one set piece is eye opening, especially corners. This High School Captain is a motivator of her peers and leads by example. She is a true coaches dream. Beyersdorf represents PacNW SC in the club season where she has garnered ECNL accolades. One of the more important aspects of her game is that she provides the same passion and tenacity on the pitch at kickoff as she does in the final minutes of the match. Stella is a true game changer, and she will embody the character and persona of the collegiate program that invests in her. She is a talent that cannot be missed.

This free kick specialist is a game changer. When the ball is at her feet, she is dangerous at any distance. The first time that you underestimate her smaller frame, she will bury a goal past your defense to include the best GK's in her age group. Tanaka plays for [program_tooltip program_id='277214' first='XF' last='Academy ECNL'] where she thrives against the most talented competition in the country. Her quick movements on the ball and ability to find space, allows her to distribute or shoot freely. Kaya plays her HS soccer for the top ranked Woodinville Falcons where she makes a daily impact and is looking to help them compete for a Washington State 4A title this season. Tanaka is surprisingly uncommitted, and she will make a lot of college programs wish they hadn't overlooked this one-of-a-kind talent when she is playing against them at the next level.

Look for Part 2 to feature additional uncommitted PNW athletes in the class of 2027 as recruiting continues.
