The next set of committed players to keep an eye on is the class of 2027. Just like in the last article, the players chosen come from their respective class ranking. Given the talent and potential of the players in this class, if the majority manage to reach said potential, there is no doubt that this class will be looked back on as iconic. Unlike the previous article, I included seven players because of the overpour of talent. All of them rank in the top 10 of the state. The first four actually all appeared together in a previous article written by JR Eskilson.

Julia, already a youth international with the Canadian national team, will be headed to Texas Christian next summer. Undoubtedly, her talent will allow her to shine unbelievably bright in her time there. She has the talent and mentality to adapt to such a demanding environment and will definitely look like a natural. Hopefully, she hits the ground running, but even if she doesn't, she won't take long to get the rhythm. Her constant offensive threat and intelligence have made her a joy to watch in these formative years. She still has a year left to continue raising her potential as well, which is something the Canadian FA and TCU will benefit from tremendously.

Lucy is headed to Appalachian State in the summer of 2027 and will do so with high expectations. It is difficult to find a single descriptor that defines her style of play because she excels in every offensive facet. One thing is for certain, though, she is the main protagonist in the final third. No matter the rival, she performs at a consistently high level. If all goes to plan, this will translate once she arrives in Boone. Her talent is unique and rarely seen in general, let alone for a player of her age. The collegiate level will give her the spotlight she deserves.

A few months ago, I said that if Makayla remains as consistently good as she is, she'll adapt to the collegiate level easily. This assessment has not changed since. In fact, it has been reinforced seeing how fantastic she continues to be. She is intelligent on and off the ball, making her a brilliant player tactically. For the spectator, her ability dazzles in the final third. She does anything you can ask an attacking player to do. Unlike other players, though, she is stellar in every aspect. Virginia Tech has a real gem headed their way soon.

Any opportunity to highlight how brilliant a talent Brielle is is very much welcomed. As I've said before, she is the best striker at the youth level I've seen in the state. NC State has made a fantastic decision in welcoming her to their program. Players like her are rare to come by, and are wonderful to watch grow. She's the intelligent, determined, and composed stalwart up top that every team wants to see. Though the transition from youth soccer to college soccer might be rough, Brielle has the talent to deal with that transition easily.

Brennan committed to the University of Florida for next year, a decision that'll work great for both parties. The center-back is what the modern game asks for. Defensively, she locks it down seamlessly. She doesn't allow anything to get past her, greatly thanks to her awareness. This awareness translates to build up as well. She is a brilliant ball-playing center back, often being the first one to start plays from deep. This type of ability, combined with her physicality and athleticism, can see her hit the ground running once she gets to UF.

Ella is a talented and versatile defensive player headed to NC State in 2027. She shines brightest as a center back, but still performs excellently as a defensive midfielder. Relying on her brain before relying on her legs sees her win the ball back cleanly constantly. This allows her to start attacks from wherever she wins the ball back, including high up the pitch. Wherever she finds herself, she'll go in to win the ball back with the type of determination that wins fans over. Her quick, short passes open up spaces easily as well. If her potential grows and sharpens in the next few years, she'll be an unreal player.
