While many different players stood out in FC Dallas ‘s strong offensive display, Auns shone the brightest in their defensive effort, which earned a clean sheet. The right-sided center back was flawless, dominating opponents inside and around the penalty box. She was very tough in duels, using her physical tools extremely well, but also dominated in the air and showed superior mobility and quickness to make plays and challenge opponents in open space. Auns was very confident on the ball and led the team’s buildup with intelligent distribution out of the back and by making some runs upfield while in possession.
