Atlanta Fire opens up the event against Bay Area Surf . It’s a challenging game for the Georgia squad. Bay Area has been excellent this season. It seems like MVLA might be the only team that has been able to score on that defense.

Amara Akoh could be the key to both stopping Bay Area Surf and scoring on Bay Area Surf . The captain of the Atlanta Fire squad has been excellent this season at left center back. She’s a top 1v1 defender with teh quality to shut down the top forward.

She is also a weapon on set pieces. She routinely wins 1v1 aerial duels and is one of the best in that aspect of the game.
