Currie was part of the Ridge Point team that earned a win, a loss and a tie in the Warrior Bracket. I was there in their 2-0 to Lamar in the Consolation Bracket and saw her lead the team’s backline with strong and well-timed actions. With her team trailing for most of the match, the senior was exposed defensively as they pushed for goals, and showed good ability to cover ground and firmness in duels to stop attacking plays from opponents. Currie also did well on the ball, distributing the ball intelligently with short passes and hitting some long diagonals with remarkable precision.
