Morawietz is a center back in the Challenge SC G08 team that will have Match Fit Academy, Maryland United FC and VDA in Greensboro. Standing at 5’11”, she’s very strong in the air, dominating the defensive penalty box and appearing well offensively in set pieces too, often scoring goals with her headers. Despite her size, Morawietz is incredibly mobile and does a great job of covering ground in the defensive half, keeping opponents under pressure. The center back is very comfortable on the ball too, displaying excellent passing range and having the confidence to support the offense with strong runs through the middle of the field.

A recent Arkansas commit, Morawietz plays for Challenge SC ECNL08. Because of her 5’11” frame, she gives the impression of being a center back shaped to defend inside the penalty box, but her impressive mobility allows her to do much more than that defensively. Morawietz uses her size extremely well to make it very difficult for opponents to send passes behind her back or over her top. She’s solid in 1v1 duels and is very strong in the air on both penalty boxes. The center back is very confident in possession and often makes good decisions when she has the ball.

Playing next to Tomlinson at the heart of the Lady Tigers’ backline, Morawietz also makes strong contributions to the team’s defensive solidness. A six-footer, she’s very strong in the air and reads the game very well, which makes the task of attacking A&M Consolidated with long balls a very difficult one. Morawietz is also very quick to react to bounces and heavy first touches, making quick moves to get to the ball. The center back is also comfortable with either foot and supports the team’s offense by connecting good passes and making smart runs through the middle.
