A strong candidate to represent the US in the upcoming U17 FIFA World Cup in October, she will be able to reunite with former Solar teammate London Young London Young M State #19 Nation TX and form arguably the best center back pairing in the country. Also capable of playing as an outside back, Mahon is extremely reliable in central defense as she seems to always know what to do to win possession, be it adjusting her positioning to intercept a pass, press an opposing attacker or cover the space behind her back. She’s also next-level in possession, showing quality and patience to circulate the ball, but also the ability to play direct and hit long and accurate diagonals.
