California 2027's dominating Northern California

The Bay Area and Sacramento area are flush with talent, specifically girls talent from the class of 2027, with top clubs boasting top talent. Here are five players who are truly dominant players in their graduating class from the northern part of the state.    There is a reason that Leifried is one of the top prospects from the 2027 class. In fact, there are several reasons. She's an incredibly smart and instinctive player, one who always seems to make the right run or occupy the right space. You see her operate on the pitch and it is with precision. She's great at making a weak-side run, or dragging that run between two defenders and opening up space on the opposite side for another player. She plays a pretty ball from the midfield as she picks her passes well and has great accuracy. Her ability to send dangerous balls into the area makes her a constant threat and she also possesses the ability to score from range or continue a run and get on the end of a ball.     Vera was a recent call-up to the USYNT's U15 squad, and it is a deserved honor for a fantastic playmaking midfielder. Vera has great vision and a tremendous passing range. She can see things develop from her place in the center of the park and she can deliver a perfectly weighted ball to a running player. Her ability to split defenders with precise passes is tremendous. She's technically very good as she is calm, composed and skilled on the ball. She can take players off the dribble, she can maneuver in tight spaces and she can turn defenders.     Moore is a really fun player to watch, because she has the nice blend of outright speed and she also has the stop and start agility, a quickness, that allows her to shake defenders and operate in tight areas. Moore is a forward with a great understanding of what is going to help her help the team. She knows when to lay the ball off, when to combine and when to find a pocket of space to operate in. She also knows when to carry the ball and take defenders on. She is a clinical finisher, scoring in a variety of ways. Her ability to beat the keeper, to finish from tight angles and to be calm when pressured by defenders is next level, and she has a powerful left foot from distance. She can also thread the needle to a running teammate or send a ball into the area that is dangerous and accurate.     Nelson is a versatile player as she can play wide on either side of the defensive formation. She is a strong defender who can match up 1v1 with the quickest wide forwards and stay with them. She can use either foot as it is hard to tell which is her dominant one. She has the ability to deliver a perfect cross, an over-the-top ball or deliver a ball on the floor with accuracy and she can put a shot on frame from distance as she is a threat on the attack. With speed on the outside, foot skills and physical defensive ability, she is a very well-rounded, highly regarded player.     Chaudhry is a very dangerous player that defenders need to be aware of. She is tremendous at making a run from the far post, either being a threat on that weak side, or angling her run between defenders and getting on the end of a ball one-time. She can really finish, showing the ability to elevate and score headers or show nifty footwork in very tight areas, scoring goals and getting off shots under extreme pressure. She is very good on the ball, knows when to take defenders on and when to lay the ball off. She is a hard-working forward who will be diligent in trying to pin an opponent deep, she wins duels and likes to help her team press forward and transition quickly.
