Five Texas Rising Stars in the U.S. Soccer ID Camp in Houston

He was moved up to their 15s team throughout the season and immediately became a starter for them, delivering solid and reliable performances in central defense. Moddelmog is a physical defender, who also excels with his positioning and does a great job of defending the penalty box for his team, especially in the air. He's very mobile and intelligent too and defends well higher up on the field, keeping opponents under pressure and now allowing them to turn on him. He's a starter and a key piece in their 15s team in the MLS Next League, operating with confidence and authority in central defense. Hoerner is not very physical, but he knows how ot use his body to win duels and can battle against any forward. He has great spatial awareness and mobility and often peels from the backline to add an extra body in midfield when his teams want to press high. Horner is also very technical and confident on the ball and does very well when initiating his team's buildup. Lopez is extremely technical, uses both feet confidently, and does a great job of finding ways to push the ball up in the field, be it by beating opponents off the dribble or by connecting accurate passes from the center of the field. He is very difficult to stop when in progression because he is a little bit unpredictable with his moves and plays very directly when he makes it past the midfield line. Extremely quick and physical, Atali can play up top or on either wing. He's very difficult to stop when driving the ball because he can dominate opponents physically and is also very technical and creative with his dribbling. The forward is very composed and confident in front of the goal and gets to convert most of the chances he gets. He's a starter in their 15s team and was recently part of their 16s squad in the Generation Adidas Cup. An extremely technical and intelligent player, Olsen is lethal inside the penalty box as he consistently gets into good spots to finish chances and is very good and reliable at sending the ball into the back of the net - he also works well with his back to the goal and can make nice turns on defenders.
