The ECNL Champions League playoffs wrapped up on Wednesday from San Diego. The Round of 16 games in the 2010 age group offered plenty of theatrics with eight teams advancing to the Finals in Richmond later this month. Check out the top individual performances from those games below.

Sloane Parenti, MVLA - Wonderful turn and cross for the assist on MVLA's opening goal. Paloma Fletcher John-Baptiste scored the goal for MVLA. Parenti was successful on the turn against her defender. She used her speed to get to the end line and serve chances in front of goal.

[player_tooltip player_id='186196' first='Dorothea' last='Perry'], MVLA - Perry was everywhere in the first half. Her finger prints are on the opening goal with a tackle in the midfield to start the attack for MVLA. There were quite a few standout moments from the defensive midfielder, but one action seemed like a good marker for how she influences the play. Perry took a free kick in the attacking half. She put the shot on frame that required a save from the Real Colorado goalkeeper. The opposition tried to spring a quick counter. Perry sprinted across the field and stopped the counterattack, won the ball back for her team.

Georgianna Zuniga, MVLA - Zuniga plays the game at her speed. There is never a panic to her action because she is fully in control - whether she is slowing the game down to let her teammates join the attack or she is going full speed to catch the counter. Zuniga was pulling the strings in the attack for MVLA. She's a creative force and had a brilliant showing. [player_tooltip player_id='187366' first='Kiyomi' last='Yoshimura'] was also outstanding for MVLA.

Aubrey Phan, MVLA - Phan's play at left back was a bright spot for MVLA. She shutdown the opposition on the wing. She was sharp in the tackle and cut out a few passes. She also linked up with Parenti for the hockey assist on the opening goal.

[player_tooltip player_id='226648' first='Eva' last='Jorgensen'], [program_tooltip program_id='283395' first='Legends' last='FC'] - Scored the opener. Jorgensen was a constant threat to get on the end of crosses. The winger had an immediate and lasting impact on the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='199891' first='Koi' last='Edwards'], [program_tooltip program_id='283395' first='Legends' last='FC'] - Assist on the opener. Benefitted from a steal and immediately turned on goal. Beat the first defender with pace. Did well to get her head up and slot a pass to the far post for Jorgensen's finish.

[player_tooltip player_id='186186' first='Fabianna' last='Gutierrez'], [program_tooltip program_id='283395' first='Legends' last='FC'] - Gutierrez scored the second goal for Legends. The midfielder started the sequence with a charging run through the opposition. She dribbled past two defenders before slotting the ball out wide. Jorgensen ended up with the ball and hit a shot off the post. Gutierrez stole the rebound from a Slammers defender and then smashed the shot off the underside of the crossbar to double the lead for her team.

Samantha Sugerman, Slammers - Sugerman created chances for her side. She was a constant threat and challenged the opposition with her defensive pressure. She created the chance for the penalty kick, which [player_tooltip player_id='269609' first='Addison' last='Briseno'] converted for the Slammers goal.

[player_tooltip player_id='280268' first='Brielle' last='Tautua'], [program_tooltip program_id='283395' first='Legends' last='FC'] - Tautua scored on a long-distance shot in the first half against Slammers. The midfielder had a good showing as a connecting piece for the Legends midfielder.

[player_tooltip player_id='281455' first='Mikiko' last='Flynn'], [program_tooltip program_id='283395' first='Legends' last='FC'] - Flynn had an excellent outing at left back against Slammers. She was dominant defensively and offered a lot in the attack as well.

Elizabeth Arkus, FC Stars - Arkus scored the opening goal in the win over VDA. The forward had a terrific finish on a chance from the top of the box. Devon Weafer had the assist on the goal.

Lily Strong, FC Stars - Strong scored the second goal for her side in the win over VDA. She finished off a chance at the end of a corner kick.

Nina Clement, FC Stars - Clement was excellent for FC Stars. The center back created chances for her side with her passing - impressively adept with either her right or left foot. She also shut down the opposition at every turn.

[player_tooltip player_id='186190' first='Nyashadzashe' last='Eileena Chinyadza'], Michigan Hawks - Chinyadza scored the opening goal in Hawks' win over Surf on Wednesday. She picked off a pass and buried a shot from 25 yards out into the bottom corner of the net. I really enjoyed watching the tactical approach from Hawks against Surf. They were fluid in the press and did an excellent job of covering for each other. It made life difficult on the Surf squad.

[player_tooltip player_id='274614' first='Abigail' last='George'], Michigan Hawks - George scored the second goal of the game against San Diego Surf. She was a key part of the defense that recorded the shutout. [player_tooltip player_id='273117' first='Eliana' last='Fredrick'], [player_tooltip player_id='273120' first='Emeline' last='Landefeld'], and [player_tooltip player_id='273188' first='Alexandra' last='Bunce'] were also the stars of the Hawks defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='273261' first='Shay' last='Bennett'], Michigan Hawks - Bennett stood out from the midfield for the Hawks. She made the game as challenging as possible on the Surf with her constant effort and pressure.

[player_tooltip player_id='295792' first='Amada' last='Rodriguez'], [program_tooltip program_id='283476' first='Slammers' last='FC'] HB Koge - Few players have raised their stock more this week than Rodriguez. The Slammers Koge outside back continues to impress. She scored a wonderful goal early in the second half in the win over Charlotte SA to seal a spot in Richmond for her team. Rodriguez's previous experience as a winger certainly showed as she dribbled through defenders on a long run before placing a shot over the goalkeeper. She had another stellar defense performance as well for the shutout. She should certainly be considered as one of the best outside backs of the competition in any age group.

[player_tooltip player_id='199890' first='Lauren' last='Lim'], [program_tooltip program_id='283476' first='Slammers' last='FC'] HB Koge - Lim scored a goal in the second for Slammers Koge. She received the ball in the center of the field and picked her head up. She caught the goalkeeper too far on one side of the goal and placed her shot into the opposite corner.

Addyson Boone, Solar - Boone had the assist on the goal early into the second half for Solar. It was a perfectly weighted and timed pass to [player_tooltip player_id='191530' first='Avery' last='Barrett'].

[player_tooltip player_id='191528' first='Camille' last='Barrett'], Solar - The Solar goalkeeper was once again brilliant for her side. Her distribution is in a league of it's own from the 2010 age group.

[player_tooltip player_id='214744' first='Sutton' last='Kelly'], Solar - Kelly was the best center back on the day - and possibly for the week. She was always in the right spot for her team.

[player_tooltip player_id='210647' first='Hadley' last='Hartsfield'], Solar - The Solar outside back had a strong game defensively. She worked hard and did well in the duel. She almost nabbed a goal for her side with a long distance shot that required a heroic save from the AHFC goalkeeper.

[player_tooltip player_id='111108' first='Allie' last='Huff'], [program_tooltip program_id='283257' first='Bay' last='Area Surf'] - Huff scored the opening goal. The talented midfielder found the back of the net on a wonderful bit of skill. She was electric outside of the goal as well. Buzzing about the center of the pitch connecting passes and opening up the game for her side.

Ella Vuong, [program_tooltip program_id='283257' first='Bay' last='Area Surf'] - Vuong had a terrific showing in the win over SLSG. The center back was calm and poised. She cut out passes and organized the defense.

Mackenzie Allen, Fairfax Virginia Union - The Union goalkeeper made an outrageously good save in the first half against Sting Royal in the 1-0 victory to claim the spot in Richmond. Allen's diving recovery denied a sure-goal and kept the opposition at bay.
