A right back, Pugsley sealed Sting's victory with a long shot in the final minutes of the match, but she was important for her team during the entire match. With Sting dominating possession, she did a good job of constantly pushing forward to stretch the field and giving her team a passing option on the right side. Pugsley sent some very good crosses into the box, whipping the ball in with the right power and precision, and also came inside on some occasions to combine with the attacking players. She also did well when she had to play defense, helping shut down most of Albion's offensive attempts.

Lee was Sting's main playmaker during the match, getting heavily involved in the team's offensive plays. She moved very well in the attacking half and did a very good job of getting into good spots to make an impact in the attack. Lee showcased strong technical skills when she had the ball, being very difficult to dispossess, and also a high level of intelligence with her decision-making. The attacking midfielder played several first-time passes in the final third, helping her team move the ball quickly and disorganize Albion's backline.

With Sting heavily dominating possession, Schwarte had mostly to defend in transition plays and she was very solid with her actions. Playing on the left in central defense, she worked very well with fellow center back [player_tooltip player_id='295354' first='Kinleigh' last='Henning'] as the two demonstrated great coordination to make stops. Schwarte used her mobility extremely well to get to Albion's long ball attempts first and also won some physical duels, despite not being very tall. The center back also had a very clean game in possession, connecting the vast majority of her passes.

Aguirre had a very active shift at the defensive midfielder role for Sting, appearing well on both sides of the ball. She was very intense with her work off the ball and picked up many second balls, helping her team keep possession in the attacking half and maintain Albion under pressure. She also distributed the ball very well, quickly moving it from the crowded central area of the field and getting it to the wings. In one of her lateral passes, she assisted Pugsley for her to score the team's second goal.

Mayfield's strong play between the posts kept Albion in the game until the final minutes. With the game being played almost entirely in her team's defensive half, the goalkeeper was under constant pressure and responded well to all kinds of challenges, making stops in shots, dealing well with crosses and leaving her spot to get to passes behind the backline. Mayfield also communicated very well with her backline, keeping everyone alert and engaged.

Playing on the right side of Albion's back three, Ramos helped her team sustain Sting's heavy pressure throughout the match. Her positioning inside the penalty box was always excellent and helped her clear crosses, both in the air and on the ground. Ramos also did a good job of not allowing much space to Sting's attacking players, and she got to block some shots inside and around the penalty box.
