<p>The 2025-2026 club soccer season has reached cruise level, and all major leagues around the country are currently going on at full force, with multiple matches taking place every weekend.</p>

<p>Texas is home to strong teams, which are among the very best in each of those leagues, and every weekend, many of them get on the field looking for three points and to move up in their respective standings.</p>

<p>Prep Soccer Texas has been following the club season very closely, covering multiple matches every weekend and highlighting the boys and girls standouts from the Lone Star State as they battle in-state opponents or teams from other parts of the country week after week.</p>

<p>To throw an even larger spotlight over the Texas teams and players, in addition to providing extensive post-match coverage as we've been doing, we'll now preview each weekend ahead, picking what should be some of the most exciting matches from different leagues scheduled for the upcoming Saturday and Sunday and feature them on the site.</p>

Their goalkeeper, [player_tooltip player_id='112681' first='Carolina' last='Flores'], is one of the very best in the league and makes a difference for them between the posts day in and day out. In front of her, Kylee Morrow gets the job done at either center back or defensive midfielder, adding a great deal of quality to their buildup. Capable of playing in midfield or as an outside back, [player_tooltip player_id='285441' first='Yadhira' last='Castillo'] has a solid all-around game and contributes in many different ways. A forward with an interesting ability to play in tight spaces, Mckenzie Bettis is one of the main offensive weapons for the team.</p>

<p>BVB are having a difficult start to their season, having collected just three points from their first five matches, with one win and four losses, and sit at the bottom of the standings in tenth place. One of their goalkeepers, Kaleigh West stands out for her positioning and her ability to deal with crosses. Capable of playing on the backline or in midfield, Lillian Andrade stands out for her ability to make defensive plays and quality on the ball. A creative and highly-skilled attacking midfielder, [player_tooltip player_id='89928' first='Alyssa' last='Valdez'] is their main playmaker. Up top, [player_tooltip player_id='26868' first='Kamrynn' last='Martinez'] is a constant threat with her well-diversified game, making runs behind the backline and working well with her body to the goal.</p>

<p>[program_tooltip program_id='283282' first='Challenge' last='SC'] are ranked seventh in the Texas Conference standings with seven points after they got two wins, one loss and one tie in their first four matches. In goal, they have [player_tooltip player_id='280255' first='Farah' last='Burkholder'], who plays up for them and is one of the top goalkeepers in the country in her age group. [player_tooltip player_id='184780' first='Addison' last='Robertson'] is a defender with a solid combination of size and technical skills and can play in central defense or as an outside back. [player_tooltip player_id='112608' first='Camryn' last='King'] is a key piece in the team, playing a big role in their playmaking and also appearing in the box to finish chances. She connects very well up top with forward [player_tooltip player_id='293358' first='Callie' last='Cleveland'], who was a solid all-around game and can be dangerous both inside the penalty box and in wider positions.</p>

A ball-playing center-back who shows tremendous confidence and stands out for her mobility, [player_tooltip player_id='214131' first='Aaliah' last='Compian'] leads the backline for them. A play-up, [player_tooltip player_id='211777' first='Mya' last='Perez'] makes the team click on the center of the field with her intensity, intelligence and elegance to make plays in solo runs or combination plays. [player_tooltip player_id='287947' first='Adelina' last='Ukperaj'] is another important player for them, appearing well in the attack and using her quality on the ball to beat defenders and facilitate plays. Also keep an eye out for Jaylen Oubre, who is an extremely dynamic winger who can make things happen on her own and is also a terrific finisher.</p>

Some of their standouts are [player_tooltip player_id='210648' first='Clayton' last='Glynn'], a technical center back with excellent passing range, [player_tooltip player_id='210662' first='Xavier' last='Brown'], a dynamic and offensive-minded left back who can also play on the wing, Zayden Seyhoon, an intense center midfielder who does great work on and off the ball, and [player_tooltip player_id='210659' first='Roberto' last='Monarres'], a skilled winger who can beat defenders off the dribble and is excellent at creating chances.</p>

Their goalkeeper, [player_tooltip player_id='90927' first='Leo' last='Enriquez'], is extremely reliable and ranks among the best in the state. Their backline has a pair of interesting pieces in [player_tooltip player_id='319331' first='Oliver' last='Marrujo'], who's extremely versatile and well-rounded and can play on central defense or as an outside back, and Soleil Sylla, who is very physical and has a strong presence in the defensive penalty box. Santiago Olmedo is another key player on the team, getting many touches from his defensive midfielder spot and working hard off the ball.</p>

One of their goalkeepers, Jacob Webb is always in the right spots and uses his length well to make saves. [player_tooltip player_id='87193' first='Blake' last='Dildy'] and Stefano Moya work very well together in midfield, taking good care of the ball and helping the team move it upfield. Another midfielder, Zane Webb has good size, passing vision and does a good job of getting into the penalty box to finish chances.</p>
