Rankings Analysis: Top talent from Texas’ 2027 Class

He has been called into the US Soccer U14 Talent ID Center in the past. He is a fun player to scout. He's electric on the ball. He's constantly scanning and diagnosis weaknesses in the opposition's defense. Cottle was very successful in MLS Next last season. He had games against MLS opponents when he scored multiple goals. Cottle has proven to be a difficult player to mark for the competition at his age level. He has earned his spot as a top player in his age group for his club. Listed at 6'1, I'm fairly sure Schorzman is actually taller than that figure at this point. His lengthy frame lends to a very promising prospect for the position. He lacks a bit of the accomplishments of his teammates in terms of Youth National Team call-ups, but he should be in that conversation. He's excellent defensively. San Antonio FC has emerged as one of the best developmental clubs in the country and Walker might be the next in line. A high-engine, no-quit midfielder, Walker fits the blueprint of a modern midfielder. His play leading up to his goal in the Best Of game was exceptional. He must've covered every blade of grass on that pitch. The 5'11 midfielder can do it all. He plays in a more advanced role for Houston Dynamo because they utilize his skill and creativity through the center channel. He also makes great runs off the ball to provide a target in the box on crosses.
