Expert Analysis

She is an elite-level player who has impressive COPA Score metrics as well as on-the-field accolades to boot. When compared to college D1 female players, her percentile ranking for the 10-yard time was 94th at 1.57s. Other high COPA scores were in cube rating and reaction time. While at ECNL Phoenix, I was able to see two of her matches against top-level teams, where she had strong showings in her ability to remain calm under pressure. Her quick and decisive passes got her team into the attacking third. Creating scoring opportunities and excellent ball control are some of her key strengths as a player. As for her surf team, they will be one of the four top teams to represent the U.S. in the UK. Looking forward to also seeing her and her top-tier team at the national playoffs.

She is a highly decorated player who won the Sierra Delta League Offensive MVP as a freshman. Her 46 goals and 14 assists for Vacaville Christian are something to note. I’ve also covered at least 6 of Jayla’s ECNL matches, and she definitely stands out. My favorite part of her game is her ability to stay calm under pressure. Her crisp passes and slicing past defenders are very impressive. Looking forward to evaluating her in high school competition, as she will be gunning for another MVP title and possibly a section title. Jayla will be playing for Vacaville High School this year, and I expect her to pick up where she left off and help her team to achieve high levels of success.

She is one of the top-ranked midfielders in the California 2028 rankings. She is a highly decorated player who won the Sierra Delta League Offensive MVP as a freshman. Her 46 goals and 14 assists for Vacaville Christian are something to note. While covering the Gatorade National Player of the Year, Addison Halpern, her total goals in 4 years stand at 160. Thus, just saying, if Jayla continues to score an average of 45 goals, it could total 180. I’ve also covered at least 5 of Jayla’s matches, and she definitely stands out. My favorite part of her game is her ability to stay calm under pressure. Her crisp passes and slicing past defenders are very impressive. She just completed a second COPA talent ID day. Looking forward to evaluating her in high school competition, as she will be gunning for another MVP title and possibly a section title. Also, wanted to note that her ECNL had a great national playoff run, as they lost a heartbreaker in the semi-final in a PK shootout.

Had a handful of lovely touches that lead to goal scoring opportunities for her Bay Area Surf side. She’s so good on the ball and is a constant threat to make something happen offensively.

She is a solid mid who can play the 8, 10, and 7. As can make quick and precise passes to runners in stride. Her quick cut backs and change of direction gets players into scoring range. When needed, she can push up top and become a scoring threat in the box. Her ability to find open pockets helps to her advantage as she gives players opportunities to make overlapping and diagonal runs at goal.

She provided quick passes to players making diagonal runs to the box. Her vision and calm presence in the middle allowed the Surf attack to be patient and find open pockets. She also just came back from the U.S. U15 ODP matches in Costa Rica. Jayla has played nonstop soccer throughout the year, and she always puts her teams first. She had an awesome freshman high school season, as she was the league player of the year while scoring 46 goals. Jayla is ranked as the 24th player in the state and 9th in position.

The little magician was at it again this week as she scored a good goal against Davis. I haven’t seen a better player in attacking pockets than her in her age group. Her close control is spectacular and she always seems to have a plan when she’s on the ball.

Swindle is an athletic, active midfielder who can make plays with the best of them. She uses her dribble well to keep possession and to keep her creative window open. She can keep defenders from dispossessing her well thanks to her advanced foot skills. She keeps plays alive and then is able to play a clever ball or switch play and really open things up. She can also create for herself very well, finding ways to get separation and then delivering a shot on target from range, showing the ability to beat the keeper from anywhere.

The social media sensation Swindle is a technician out there on the field. She was one of the younger players on the field and although she looks it physically she did not look out of place one bit. Her touch and vision are remarkable. You can really see that she works on her game tirelessly on her own. Once she develops physically watch out!
