U.S. Soccer U14 Central Region ID Camp: Players You Need to Know

She's got the physical profile to be an international level talent. Tall, athletic, strong, Allen has the eye-opening attributes for a young prospect. She's got the diving technique to handle any shot on frame. She's shown impressive footwork especially when getting side to side and how she approaches the attacking player in close shots or breakaways. She's got a booming kick on drop kicks that easily clears half field - and still seems like she has the leg to get the ball even farther down the field. With eight goalkeepers on the roster at this event, there is going to be plenty of competition at this position. She comes from Illinois, which has become a hotbed for goalkeepers thanks to some of the excellent position-specific coaches in that area. Komacki's training shines on game film. She is arguably one of the most fundamentally sound players at her position in the country. She's not overwhelming in her physical attributes, but her consistency and drive put her into the elite category.
