ECNL Girl’s Championship Monday

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It was much cooler today as the cloud cover kept the heat much more tolerable for players and officials out there running around. Still quite humid but temperatures never went higher than low 80's. The quality of soccer was very high today and I want to give a huge congratulations to ECNL for putting on such a great event and postseason. Five championship matches took place and I must congratulate newly crowned ECNL National Champions San Diego Surf ('12), San Diego Surf ('11), Michigan Hawks ('10), MVLA ('09), and Real Colorado ('08) an incredible achievement of teamwork and perseverance through this long season. Her crafty dribbling and ability to cut inside or get to the byline could not be stopped today. Has quite the move library for such a young player. She scored a good volley from close range to open the scoring for Surf.
