Lara is one of the most dangerous offensive players on the team and can cause problems for opponents in a variety of ways. Because she’s a lethal finisher and is very calm in front of the goal, she’s often used in the striker role, where she delivers excellent production. Lara is probably at her best a little further away from the goal, though, where she can make the most of her intelligent movement to get on the ball in dangerous spots. The forward is very effective playing on the right, from where she can bring the ball inside to pass and finish, and plays with tremendous intensity regardless of where she’s deployed.

Lara is the focal point of the offense of her high school team Katy and also plays a major role for Albion Hurricanes FC 07 in the regional league. She’s extremely mobile and understands space very well, always getting in a position to explore gaps between defenders. She can play more centrally too, but is at her best when she starts from one of the sides, preferably the right, and has the freedom to make runs on and off the ball inside. Lara uses both feet well to dribble and finish and is very calm and composed in front of the goal.

Lara was the most productive offensive player for Tiger Bracket winners Katy. A forward with a lot of quality on the ball and a great understanding of the game, she played a major role in the team’s attack. Lara is very mobile and dangerous when beating defenders off the dribble, but also finishes extremely well and is calm in front of the goal. She was excellent in a 6-1 victory over Clear Springs, getting a hat trick and making the team’s offense flow through her – it felt like the ball would always find her in the final third.
