Dawkins and her Sting Black U17 team are scheduled to meet Lonestar San Antonio RL U19 and Lonestar Austin Red U17 in their trip to College Station. The center back is one of the pillars of their defensive system, making great use of her positioning to always be in the ready spots to stop plays. Dawkins is very firm with her actions and uses her body very well to dominate opponents and win duels. Calm and confident on the ball, she’s a threat in set pieces and also a vocal leader for her team, communicating well and commanding her teammates from the back.

Dawkins played for the Sting Black team that came out on top in both matches it played, while not conceding any goals. Playing as a left-sided center back, the captain was very good in a 2-0 win over NC Courage. Dawkins’ positioning was always on point and allowed her to be in a position to make stops. The center back used her body very well when she had to get into duels, shutting down opponents before they got near her team’s penalty box. Dawkins also worked with the ball at her feet, thriving with her passing and providing great service into the box off free kicks.
