An outside back in her first two seasons with the Panthers, Vaughn played on the right side of the team’s back three against George Ranch and was one of the best players on the field. She adjusted well to the new role and was very solid defensively, winning duels in the backline and stopping offensive attempts. Vaughn was also extremely vocal, communicating with her teammates and keeping things organized at the back. The center back got on the ball a lot when the Panthers had possession and had a big role in the team’s buildup with her accurate passing, while also making some nice runs with the ball.
