The Texas Conference of the ECNL Girls League is going to have another busy week, with matches going on across the states of Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado. As we prepare to follow the exciting encounters that are going to take place, here are three sides to keep an eye on over the next few days:
Challenge SC G07
After four matches in Colorado, Challenge are ready for their first home match of the season, against the Dallas Texans, on Saturday. The team from Houston got solid results on the road as, after dropping their season-opener to Real Colorado National, got to beat the Colorado Rapids, the Real Colorado Athletic and Pride SC with ten goals scored and just one conceded. Brandie Musser Brandie Musser GK State TX has been in fine form between the posts and has been getting great protection from a backline anchored by Kira Schkade Kira Schkade F TX at center back and Andrea Delgado Andrea Delgado D Atascocita | 2025 State TX at outside back. In midfield, Haley “Halo” Pazahanick and Olivia Feagin Olivia Feagin M College Station | 2026 State #67 Nation TX are excellent on both sides of the ball and give Challenge a very intense rhythm. New addition Jayme Bialik Jayme Bialik 5'6" | M College Park | 2025 TX has been on fire on top, leading a powerful offense that also counts on Melanie Lagor, Ashtyn Magnuson Ashtyn Magnuson F A&M Consolidated Highschool | 2026 TX and Melanie Oldner Melanie Oldner F Kingwood | 2025 TX .
Pride SC G08
The team from Colorado is still looking for its first win in the season, after getting three ties and three losses in its first matches. Pride will have two opportunities to do it this week, playing on the road against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday and Real Colorado National on Sunday. Pride have more talent than their results are showing as the team features two solid and reliable players in the backline in Olivia Wilson and Aaliyah Mancia, have the dynamic presences of Emma Naftanel and Erin Coulter at the midfield and can create problems for opponents with Brooklynn Pollmiller, Carly Sharratt and Shaylee Cohen up front.
DKSC G08
The team from the Dallas area defeated strong FC Dallas and Dallas Texans teams in its first two matches, but then fell to Sting Dallas Black. They will have two opportunities to get back to winning ways this weekend, going on the road against Tulsa SC and OK Energy FC on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Suzette “Suzy” Orta Suzette “Suzy” Orta GK Hillcrest | 2026 TX is a strong goalkeeper, who provides DKSC with great stability between the posts. Their defense is led by physical center back Aj Jaquay and outside back Kenzi Coffman Kenzi Coffman D Mansfield | 2026 TX , who’s excellent in set pieces. Audrey Anderson Audrey Anderson 5'4" | M Southlake Carroll 2027 | 2026 TX and Sloane Boswell Sloane Boswell 5'8" | M Frisco Wakeland | 2026 TX patrol the midfield and have tremendous quality to connect forward passes and find dangerous and skilled forwards Audrey Gilbert Audrey Gilbert F Wakeland | 2026 TX and Riley Lovern Riley Lovern F Timber Creek | 2026 TX in a good position to score.
