[player_tooltip player_id='111241' first='Gabrielle' last='Ferraro'], Central Midielder, San Juan SC

I'm dating myself with this reference, but watching Ferraro on film reminded me of Sacramento Kings point guard Jason Williams. She is constantly putting defenders in the spin cycle, she's out-of-the-box creative, she is extremely athletic and she can handle the ball under a ton of pressure and not lose it. She is extremely strong and she is really agile and shifty. She can take people on and use that ability to open things up and create so much space. She plays creative, clever balls other midfielders would not see. She has a style and flair to her game as well that is fun to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='111126' first='Mehr' last='Khera'], Central Defender, Bay Area Surf

Khera is an instinctive center back who is capable of doing just about anything. She possesses great speed and can run down attackers, and does not get beat easily. She is good at dispossessing the ball when it's on the floor and she can win in the air. She is comfortable on the ball and has excellent passing range. She can play the ball short into tight windows or deliver an accurate longer ball. She is calm and composed and can help build out of the back.

[player_tooltip player_id='146360' first='Miliani' last='Makasini'], Forward, FC Bay Area

Makasini can play any of the three forward spots, and she shows great instincts from all three places. She seems to have a setting that allows her to understand what space to attack in order to be ready for the ball, and once the ball is played into that space, she truly attacks the ball. She's fast and quick, quite agile as she can cut back on either foot and she has a strong shot whether she's cutting in or going toward touch line and creating a tight angle.

[player_tooltip player_id='146256' first='Molly' last='McBride'], Keeper, San Juan SC

McBride has many great attributes and there is a reason she is the top keeper for the San Juan 2009 team. She's agile and reflexive and she pairs those two things with having good size and physical attributes. She's athletic, as she moves quickly, flows nicely and she reads the attack well. What I really liked was how she gets big and shuts down angles. She also has the ability to have her momentum going one way, but still get her body in a position the other way to make a strong save. She has strong hands as once she gets a glove to a ball, it's not going in the net.

[player_tooltip player_id='146239' first='Rhea' last='Moore'], Forward, San Juan SC

Moore is very fun to watch. Talk about game film that pops. She is electric and athletic. She displays such change of pace and elite body control when on the ball. Her ability to stop and start creates so much space and she can beat you with a lethal shot from range, she can slot a ball home to beat the keeper or she can get the keeper to overcommit and finish cooly after going around them. She creates so much space and beats defenders so well that she is great at setting her teammates up, laying the ball off neatly after opening the game up. She is so good with the ball, very hard to dispossess and when you combine her above-mentioned quickness and agility with her elite straight-line speed, she is truly a top forward in this class.

[player_tooltip player_id='82602' first='Abby' last='Nelson'], Outside Defender, De Anza Force

Nelson is a really fun and exciting outside back. She can play on either side and she can use either foot. And speaking of either foot, she can really drive her boot through the ball, with either foot, scoring some incredible goals from range. The pace and ball placement are incredible. She has a lot of speed going forward and can take on outside backs without being predictable. She can also defend on the back end as well, showing physicality in the box, the ability to dispossess and to win balls in the air.
